There are spaces that impress, and then there are spaces that move people. The Historic Lobby at The Show has always been the second kind.
Since the building opened in 1929, this room has been the centerpiece of everything that happens here. Vaulted ceilings that draw the eye upward. Gilded architectural details that catch the light at every hour of the evening. Crystal chandeliers that make even the quietest moment feel like it belongs in a film. It is the kind of grandeur that cannot be replicated — only restored and honored, which is exactly what we have done.
For your celebration, the Historic Lobby is as flexible as it is beautiful. Couples who wish to marry and celebrate in the same extraordinary space will find the lobby holds both a ceremony and a reception with equal grace and presence. Those envisioning a cocktail hour here — guests mingling beneath the chandeliers, drinks in hand, taking in the architectural details — will find it is a difficult act to follow. And for receptions, the lobby simply becomes the backdrop against which every photograph, every dance, and every toast is measured.
THE LOBBy
Whatever role it plays in your evening, the Historic Lobby brings the same quality to all of it: the unmistakable sense that something remarkable is happening, in a room that was built for exactly this.

Whether you are envisioning a ceremony, a reception, a cocktail hour, or something entirely your own, these configurations offer a starting point for the conversation.
What happens next is where the real work begins. Our team will sit down with you, learn the details of your event, and meticulously review every element of the space to ensure the layout reflects your vision precisely. No template. No guesswork.
