THE FOYER

Every great evening begins with an arrival. In the early 20th century, when The Show operated as one of South Buffalo's most cherished movie palaces, the entrance foyer was where coming attractions were displayed — a carefully curated preview designed to build anticipation for what was about to unfold inside.

That spirit of anticipation lives here still.

Today the foyer welcomes your guests into something warm, considered, and quietly extraordinary. Lounge furniture draws people in and invites them to stay a while. A welcome drink station here means the celebration begins the moment guests step through the door. A memory table, surrounded by the architectural details of a restored 1929 landmark, becomes something far more meaningful than a table with photographs.

The foyer is also home to Gallery Josephine — our ongoing collaboration with Resource: Art — where rotating exhibitions bring original works into the space, giving guests something to discover, admire, and talk about throughout the evening.

And when the music and laughter from the main event reach their peak, the foyer offers something equally valuable: a moment of quiet. Comfortable furniture, beautiful art, and a room with nearly a century of stories in its walls — the perfect place to step away, breathe, and remember exactly where you are.
